we are yale’s only experimental theater and art collective. for the past 25 years, we’ve used devised and composition-based theatrical techniques as well as sound, light, video, and other media to create compelling experiences for the yale community and beyond. the control group is a collaborative ensemble where each member’s artistic contribution is valued equally and where every impulse is encouraged. if you have ever wanted to try creating a piece that doesn’t follow the conventional forms or find a space to mix your many-faceted creative expression, please considering auditioning for the control group. if you have any questions or want to know more specifics about our work, email us at cntrlgrp@gnail.com.
